Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning

Kitchen-Exhaust-Cleaning

A lot of times when we actually talk about hood cleaning we are referring more to this type of process. What we are going to be doing is cleaning your kitchen exhaust system from the grill to the roof. In our mind, this is really the best way to ensure that you are going to have a system that is working properly and is getting smoke grease and all other types of wastes if you will out of your way in a proper fashion. That being said we would love to take the opportunity to actually let you know how these systems work. Call us via (510) 876-9373 for free quotes!

Starting Off At The Roof

This can be the long-forgotten part of a kitchen exhaust system. If you don’t have proper grease containment on your rooftop it can be a problem that you are going to have to deal with in a long term basis. When we get up there this is the first thing that we are going to see. What we have heard from a lot of clients is that it can get tough to pick the right type of grease containment system. We can help you clean out what you have and at times replace what you have with something better.

Washing Fans & The Exhaust System Itself

Pressure washing is going to be a very important part of the process. Whether we are washing out the fans or the vent itself we need to make sure that we are using the right amount of pressure to be able to really get all of the build-up out of these areas. That is why a lot of times we are going to be using an extra pump to make sure that we are able to get all of the grease and dust that has built up right out of there.

Prepping The Kitchen

This is actually something very few people talk about, but it is a very important part of the process. The last thing that you want is to be spraying a whole bunch of water directly down the vent and into the grill to the point where you are literally going to flood your kitchen. What we like to do is waterproof the kitchen with plastic coverings that are going to catch all of the water that is going to be coming down. Obviously, for this process, we are going to have to shut down the kitchen. As we have said in other areas of the site though we can adapt our business hours so that they don’t clash with yours.

How Often Do I Need To Clean My Kitchen Exhaust

This is really hard for us to pinpoint. We think really the best thing that you can do is be honest with yourself. If you know that you are cooking a lot of greasy food you may want to have our guys come by more often. If you have an older system it will also clog up much faster.
